The Hendo
Foundation
UFC Hall of Famer Dan Henderson started this foundation to pay for wrestling and MMA training for kids in the Temecula Valley whose families can't afford it. We do the same for veterans in need, and our golf tournament raises money for other charities.

What we do
Free training for kids
We find kids in the Temecula Valley, Murrieta, and nearby Riverside County towns who need it most and pay for their wrestling and MMA memberships. Ages 6 to 18, and their families never get a bill.
Hendo's Youth ProgramTraining for veterans
We pay for veterans in need to train at our martial arts gym, and they get a team to train with. Nobody should come home and go it alone.
Veterans programOther charities
The golf tournament raises money for other charities. In 2026 that was VETS and Veterans for Child Rescue. Before that it was America's Mighty Warriors, the Special Forces Charitable Trust, and War Party Ranch.
Golf tournament
Hendo's charity golf tournament
An 18-hole scramble at Temecula Creek Golf Club with 216 golfers and an awards dinner to close out the day. The money goes to veterans, first responders, and women and children affected by sex trafficking and domestic violence.
The next date is coming soon.
Tournament Details2026 charity selections
Money from the 2026 golf tournament went to two veteran charities.
Hendo's pig roast
The day after the golf tournament, Dan Henderson opens up his home in Temecula for a pig roast with live music, beer on tap, and cocktails. The money goes to veterans and survivors of sex trafficking.
