Privacy policy
Effective October 20, 2026.
Who we are
This site is run by The Hendo Foundation (Hendo Foundation Inc), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 39-2103548, at 27901 Jefferson Avenue, Temecula, CA 92590. This policy covers thehendofoundation.com.
What we collect
We only get personal information you choose to send us: your name, email, phone number, and anything else you put in an email to us or enter when you donate or register for an event.
This site doesn't use advertising trackers or sell anything you give us. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure.
Donations and registrations
Donations are processed by Donorbox, and event registrations by TicketSpice or the event's own website. Card details go straight to those services and their payment processors. We never see or store your full card number. Their own privacy policies cover what they collect.
We get your name, contact details, and gift or registration amount so we can send receipts, keep the records the IRS and the California Attorney General require, and thank you.
How we use it
To process and acknowledge gifts, run our events, answer your questions, and send foundation updates if you ask for them. We don't sell, rent, or trade donor information. We share it only with the services that help us do this work, or when the law requires it.
If you want to give anonymously, tell us and we won't name you publicly.
Do Not Track
This site doesn't track visitors across other websites, so it doesn't respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. Third-party services we link to, such as Donorbox, may handle those signals their own way.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you, or ask us to stop emailing you, at any time. Email [email protected]. We may need to keep some gift records to meet tax and charity reporting rules.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Parents sign kids up for the youth program directly with us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date below.
