There are people who talk about doing what's right, and there are people who just do it. No hesitation, no recognition, no second thought. Jeff Brady was the second kind.
Jeff came into MMA and combat sports with the same intensity he brought to everything else. His ties to the PFL (Professional Fighters League) and the wider MMA community were personal, not just professional. He understood what it meant to compete, to sacrifice, and to show up for the people around you, and he carried that into every room he walked into and every person he stood beside.
Jeff was one of the most dedicated supporters The Hendo Foundation has ever had. He showed up at the golf tournament, at events, and behind the scenes. He didn't do it for recognition. He did it because he believed in what we were building. Serving veterans, protecting kids, and giving back to the community weren't a mission statement to Jeff. They were how he lived.
On July 5th, 2025, Jeff Brady made the ultimate sacrifice. When he saw two young boys, ages 10 and 12, struggling in the river, he didn't stop to weigh the risk. He went in. He saved those children, and in doing so he gave everything he had.
That is who Jeff Brady was: a protector, a provider, and a selfless hero. The kind of man who, when it matters most, doesn't think about himself. He only thinks about who needs help and how fast he can get there.
The Hendo Foundation is honored to carry Jeff's legacy forward. His courage, his selflessness, and his commitment to people who need protecting are the same values behind every program we run, every event we hold, and every dollar we raise. We will keep fighting for veterans, standing up for at-risk kids, and serving this community in his name.
